  Bryant, Andrew 1825

Bryant defined three categories of road: Turnpike and Mail roads; Good Cross and Driving roads; Lanes & Bridle Ways. The major four types of road were coloured sepia with a thickened shaded line on one side. Lanes & Bridle Ways were uncoloured with lines of equal weight on either side (or dashed if not inclosed). Occasionally footpaths were also recorded.
